Dishes smell like fish, I've used Cascade, and we have town water, the same as what we take bath's in?
I was going to get some of that jet/dry to put in it? Is it clogged with food or something maybe?

Look inside. Examine the drain hose, bottom reservoir, and any areas where grease, gunk, food particles, and residues might become trapped. Use a large wad of paper towels to remove anything you find. Be careful: You could encounter pieces of broken glass or other materials. I once found a hair clip. (It must have fallen out of my hair and I didn't notice.) I also discovered a cap from a pen!

Clogged drainpipes or sewer lines can cause odors, too. If you suspect this is the problem, call a plumber.

A dishwasher can be cleaned periodically by pouring either 1/2 cup bleach or 1 cup household vinegar in the bottom and running the appliance through a cycle. Commercial dishwasher-freshening products will do the job as well.

It could have old food in it. Try sprinkling some baking soda inside it, then running it for a cycle with no dishes in it. You may have to do this 3 or 4 times. You could also put lemon juice or vinegar in the place where the jet dry solution goes. I hope you get rid of that smell.

Maybe put a box of baking soda setting in there. And wash the dishes by hand for a week or so. Baking soda is really good for getting odors out.

Try filling both soap containers with white vinegar and running it empty, it should help.
