Greetings!

Best advice is to use Network for dummies. Then pick up a couple of junk computers and build a network.
Now as an aside I am an mcse. Do not invest a lot of money in training. Today, most of the networks requiring permanent IT staff are running Win 2k. Advance Data Server.
No administrator in his right mind would let you near the network fresh out of school.
So, take the A+ certification and you would be able to get a job repair and install and get all your network training free and on the job.
I have spent for the various certs I hold over 2,000. just in tests alone.
So think about it , this is an easy and smart way to go.

Good Luck

get yourself a rapidshare premium subscription, go to ebooksportal.org, and get with the downloadage.

the subscription is 10 euros for one month, but it's a one-off payment, makes downloading a heck of a lot quicker and easier (even get a decent management tool), and just think of all the money you're saving :)

a lot of people making a hell of a lot more cash out of the IT training industry than they should - e.g. £4000 for a four week crash course, etc, that's no more comprehensive and certainly worth no more than an A+ that you can study for yourself and take the exam for about £100 with vouchers off eBay...

(it's not really stealing as such as you could always go to your local lending library and read this stuff free of charge anyhow...)
