i hate it when kids base dating on social cliques and musical taste.

I don't really know what the big deal with the emu, emo crap. Everybody hates the world, or something about the world. Anyway, maybe your interpretation of a prep isn't really what they are. Just because they have the clothes from all them expensive places, doesn't make them a prep. It's their attitude.

I think that individuality is a great thing. But then so is individuals finding something great in another person. We are all hear to live and learn. Lets do that with each other. We are all here anyway

why would this concern you? it is their business
ever hear opposites attract?
and what mistaken idea would make you think how someone dresses is more important than how they "are" and what they think, if their actions are good or bad?
if your going to but into other peoples lives and business which i do not recommend...at least use logic
Is a preppy Axe murderer better than a kind giving person with purple hair?

don't be foolish
people are people
thats like saying black people shouldn't date white people
differences make relationships more interesting
besides the people your describing are all the same, they're just teenagers fitting in to their own scene.

Live and let live. The little things that bother you now, probably won't matter in ten years.

it doesn't bother me much. i mean, i'm emo and if tehre was a preppy guy that asked me out, as long as he was worth it, i'd date him.
but it does bother me when preps shop in Hot Topic then diss it later on...
