If an equation is like:

7 N 2
4 S 4
3 H3
everything is balanced exept for NItrogen. Do I multiply both sides to get 14?

This is not an equation. I read your other question also, but adding the words reactants and products are not enought. In order to balance the equation you need the 'equations'.

What does the equation look like??

ex: H2 + O2 = H2O
balanced would be 2H2 + O2 = 2H2O
