I live in New Orleans. There were no bombs dropped on any bridges. Bush did nothing to cause the levees to fail. Turn your anger to the Army Corps of Engineers and the New Orleans Levee Board. Be angry at all the young black children who are shooting each other over drugs and gang fights; they are the real reason the National Guard was called back into the city.

First off you need to work on your grammer or people will not take you seriosly and also take you for granted (use you). First off you have to use common sence. If there were really bombs set up there would be a loud explosion & there would have been huge waves caused by the rippeling affect that happens in all explosions or when the plates of the earth naturaly move like what happened over seas. If you realy need to blame some one else for New Orleans problems you all should look to your selfs. How about your terrible mayor? He did nothing to get the people out. He of course got out all the rich people and his constichuants (people who do buisness with him) while hundreds of school busses became flooded with water. You think 800 $ is alot of money then come to California where you can work for peanuts and pay over 1000$ for a studio! Also your great mayor is practicing blastfamy by saying "God is angry at America and thats wht he is sending hurrican after huricane", well if God is angry at America why is he sending all the huricanes to New Orleans? If you realy want to see little children dying why don't you look at the parts of the world (like N Korea) where little kids are worked untill they die or are executed because theyre family dose not plege aligence to the ruller. Or in Afganistan where groupls like the Taliban will starve whole villages just because they are christians, that is real suffering. Politicians will not solve our problems. If you want to know why the crime rate goes up so high in a time of chaos just look at society and what we embrace as a people and untill we all wake up and take accountability for our own actions nothing is going to change, and no politician can change that. Thank You.

Alright ... I think I got thru the "ebonics" okay ...
He does care.
He didn't cause the hurricaine, it was NOT a man-made disaster caused by Karl Rove or something.
Your Mayor Ray Nagan is most to blame for the suffering since it was his job to evacuate the city and he didn't. This is followed by your state governor Kathleen Blanco whose job it was to call on FEMA and the feds immediately when she realised that "Ray Ray" and co. were incompetent.
Is this a "Bush stunt?" I don't think so, after all what does he have to gain from it? He's not running for office again. Black Democrats in New Orleans would never vote for him or his successor anyways ...
Why is he worrying about Korea and Iraq? Well despite the inability of grown folks in New Orleans to take care of themselves, the world must go on. If we don't handle Korea properly nuclear war might ensue thereby threatening ALL life on this planet!

The lack of a quick response to the problem was inexcusable. The slow reaction to this tragedy did contribute and compound the problem. As president of the US he is the person who should be accountable for not getting this situation in hand quicker.
My husband is from Louisiana and we were able to get what little family he has left there, out before the storm hit.We are lucky we had the money to do what needed to be done for 14 family members,7 dogs 4 cats, and 2 parrots. But most of the poor there had no recourse but to stay, they couldn't buy their way to safety,if they had ,had the money to do it with.
The lower 9th ward is one of the poorest in the nation and was one of the hardest hit.We have flown back 5 or 6 times since it happened and it still looks like a war zone.
Its hard to help yourself if you don't have any resources to start with. The governor, the mayor,FEMA,President Bush are all to blame for immediate action to help the American citizens in New Orleans.

i do no longer think of Katrina is the only ingredient that must be seen approximately Bush's checklist, yet undergo in ideas that lots of the Katrina issues suffered in New Orleans have been because of a) unintended engineering errors made an prolonged time in the past, b) incompetent nearby and state management that did no longer prepare and did no longer cooperate with federal businesses to handle the disaster, and c) unfavourable administration of the federal disaster reaction via the top of FEMA. No president can forestall organic mess ups, engineering mess ups, or tension nearby leaders or perhaps private voters to coach for the mess ups which you would be able to assume and assume. Bush does undergo accountability for appointing the top of FEMA, so area of the blame falls on him. notwithstanding, that is not any longer precise to declare that the federal government did no longer something. The nationwide shelter did super artwork offering emergency guard and seek and rescue to those who ought to have been evacuated. additionally, the federal government has had a lot of help available for human beings tormented by Katrina, and neighboring states, like Texas, have provided various information to evacuees. Bush in all probability ought to have chosen somebody else to pass FEMA, yet Brown had performed high-quality dealing with hurricane alleviation in Florida the 300 and sixty 5 days till now. Katrina become a super organic disaster and our reaction become inadequate, however no longer intentionally negligent- we can and could discover out the thank you to deal with the subsequent one greater desirable, yet no longer all of the blame could be laid on Bush.

i BELIEVE THE BLAME NEEDS TO BE PLACED WHERE IT BELONGS.your HAD 6 DAYS WARNING IT WAS COMING{I'm NOT BEING INSENSITIVE} Your mayor left 1000 buses sitting instead of trying to save his people as he should have done. The process that has to take place is that he is responsible first ,Then your Governor actually has to ask the federal government for assistance, which she did not do but actually kept trucks with supplies you needed from getting to you for3 days,I know ,I'm a truck driver that tried to get in to deliver emergency relief to your citizens, and she also kept the RED CROSS from assisting you for 4 days. The levies have been needing attention for years but the local government has been diverting the money to their own PET projects instead of using it for the levies.....THERE WAS NO BOMB!!!!! That is a ploy that was played on the American public as well as the people of NEW ORLEANS,to try to take attention off of the people that diverted your money elsewhere.Honestly I don't believe you reelected your mayor to another term to give him another chance to get over on you again.OPEN YOUR EYES,investigate whatreally went on and dont believe just what your local leaders tell you because they arent taking responseability for the things and are trying to pass the blame to some one else. I hope you are doing as well as can be expected,I'v been down there since and honestly MISSISSIPPI,who got less money than yall did,has cleaned there area up and started to rebuild instead of just holding the money like your local govthas been doing.I'd be down there demanding they help the people out, after all THATS THEIR JOB not just worrying about DOWNTOWN

Try putting the blame where it deserves to be,the people in New Orleans were stupid enough to stay..,dont hand me that crap they didnt have a way out,I lived in corpus chrisit with no car and 2 kids and ALWAYS had a way out of town.Your wonderful Mayor Naygan mr racist himself, wouldnt let the red cross meal wagons to the dome because he didnt want the people staying at the dome.Nobody blew up the levis..,there was money given in the 90s to rebuild those weak levies and one of your governors decided to spend it else where. Its pretty bad when a 14 year old kid can hot wire a school bus and help the elderly and the sick in his neighborhood get out yet your mayor couldnt?Sounds like your chocolate town mayor has a problem with it being chocolate.People are sick of hearing you people screaming for handouts when you had the debit cards and screwed us because our tax dollars are paying for those...,sorry we dont feel sorry for people who dont want to help themselves. Its pathetic that you have to hate someone because he is only one man but it was YOUR POLITICIANS THAT FAILED YOU,not the president.
Oh and gee we feel sorry for you because you have to pay rent??wa wa wa wa..,welcome to the real world where most of us have to pay bills and we know how to take personal responsiblity for ourselves and our actions and not blame it on someone else. And you had plenty of crime before the hurricane..,darn..,I got sick today I guess thats your fault!!!!!!

Why is an elected official responsible for an act of God? And why didn't you leave N.O. before the storm when told it was in your best interest to do so?
And frankly North Korea using nukes IS more important than any single city in the US. ANYDAY.
