They were not best years at all. I would never go back. It was much more fun and interesting and exciting and free to have your own first car, first apartment and decorating it, having new adult friends and working at jobs and exploring life and being free from classes and parents.

I would never do it all over again, there was just too much work and stress. But yes, high school was the best time of my life.

Whether my past good or bad, smooth or difficult, I wouldn't want to go back in the past, Because I now have learnt so far.
Life is all about learning, not only enjoying on happiness. Everyone must go through the 'yin&yang' to find the 'well balance' for the next life, or next of our new 'energy's form'

The best four years of my life was at college. I would like to go back and relive those days again, but I wouldn't change anything. You never know how changing just one little thing could drastically effect life as you now know it!

Yeah, school was the best even though I never thought that at the time! No worries - no mortgage, no debts, schoolday finished at 3.30pm... Having said that I wouldn't go back to live at home again.

I believe every year is the best year and with very few exceptions I have been right so far...highschool was good and college was great; but so is real life.
I recently saw a man I had dated in high school; he just divorced his fourth wife(yes, he divorced her) and his last wife has not been born yet(if you get my drift?)
He proclaimed," that my 18th year was the BEST year of my entire life!"
I laughed out loud and told him that was the first year we dated...you should have seen the look on his face...silly man.

Like a flash! I never believed my teachers when they said your school years are the best years of your life. How right they were. I told both of my kids the same thing, received the usual disbelieving looks and comments - and both of them agreed with me within 3 years of leaving school. And they will, in all probability, tell their children the same thing one day.

I wish I still had the strength, stamina and vitality that I had at that age, but God no, school is hell, a fascist dictatorship where the civillians (students) have no right of expression, and teenage years are depressing as hell, too many hormones, too much peer-pressure and too much fear.
Roll on retirement.
