hey every one my room mate is a bad drunk he is litterey drinking him self to death its like he dosent care about any thing but drinkking any ideas on how to help him even if he wont help him self

As the daughter of a recovering alcoholic, I can tell you that there is not much you can do. My mom didn't stop drinking until I told her tha she would be cut off from her grandkids if she didn't clean up. She did, but from what I understand, she is one of the few who does.

you prob. cant. My mom died from alcholism. She loved it so much she chose it over life itself. I tried for years to get her to see what she was doing to her self and us kids. If they don't want to address the issue they wont. He won't hear you. It may be a phase he is in as well. Good luck

talk to someone in charge as well as trying to help him urself if nothing else works and its really bothering you try looking for a different room mate

Usually at that stage a person is spiralling downward until they hit bottom. They won't get scared or angry enough to change their life until they really hit bottom. All you can do is be there for them.

i hate to burst ur bubble.. theres not really much u can do until he sees that he needs to stop and come to his senses.. but maybe try to talk to him and tell him that he cna die from his bad hbbit and go from there.. Good luck!

try to get him to go to an AA meeting with you. He will meet people there with the same problem. you might try al-anon yourself.

tell him you care about him and you want to help him and just ask him this is it worth it wasting your life. tell to think about who care about him how they feel if was gone
