I am 27 and married. My husband and I have been talking about starting a family but were planning on waiting until next year. We would be thrilled to be expecting but it would also be good for us to wait. I'm about a week late and very tired. How late should you be before you start wondering if you're pregnancy?

Well it depends on a lot of things. First of all whether or not you have ever been this late or not. Second..Have you done anything to differently lately, like change in work or school schedule? Or maybe started or stopped an exercise routine? Also have you been under any stress lately?

All things can play into why a women's body changes from month to month. But if you have been on a normal routine and now you are late and tired, you might just want to get a pregnancy test. Being pregnant can make you sleepy and maybe even a little nauseated.

Make sure that you also don't drink or smoke just in case since these things would be harmful to your baby if you are pregnant.

You can get on of those home testing kits from the drug store,go to the doctors or a family planning clinic to get tested. But don't wait long since you want to get good care and have a safe and healthy pregnancy.

about a day. This is an excellent time to take a test. You get a great reading a week after you're missed period.

You can take a test now to find out if you are pregnant. That's the only real way on knowing if you are pregnant or not.

Depending on how regular your periods are, you're probably late enough. Get it checked out.
