Sure can I've built a few of these engines and they are in no way "maxed out" from the factory. I wouldn't run more than a 50hp shot on the street, but I've built a 2 (one with a 100 shot and another with a 150 shot) and both are still running perfectly after hundreds of dragstrip passes. Your best bet would to run the nos power shot system kit for the hayabusa. Very easy to install and tune.

N0S) Nitros Oxide System.

Yes you can put NOS on a busa, you also will need to dyno the engine and tweat the fuel and make it run rich, so it does not burn lean and kill the engine.

I don't see the point of tricking out a Hayabusa, when your not going to attempt to set a new land speed record on it.

The tweak speed reached was 246 MPH in the salt flats.

I ran a 40hp dry shot kit on my 2000 busa before I sold it. The bike can handle it, if you are not doing any speed records or grudge racing it is worth it. It is useless in bracket racing though, because you are trying to stay consistent. Right now I have a 40hp dry shot on my 03 ZX-12R, I do speed records.

If you want the engine to explode between your legs, go for it!

That engine is operating at the limit of engineering technology. N2O would probably result in a rather spectacular fireworks display. I wouldn't want that happening in close proximity to the "family jewels" myself.

Yes, have seen a couple of people do that. They store the can under their tail fairing. But the ones I saw were at the drag strip, because I am not sure where around town you would use that.
