Their eyes will open in about a week. Please be careful that the mother and/or father hamster do not eat the babies. This is very common and really gross and gory when it happens. You can handle the babies when their eyes open and they are about two inches long. Make sure the mother hamster is not stressed out. Hamsters do not bring much money on the market. A pet store may give you $5 each... a person might buy one from you for about $10.

They should open their eyes anyday...usually a week or so. You can hold them after they start to leave the nest. Pet stores usually buy them and have a set price they will pay. Also if the male is still in the pen with the female, they may breed back immediately.

um...first of all, ALL hamsters have tiny stubbs for tails. you should start holding them when they are almost weaned from the mother. you could probably sell them to the pet store for like...15 bucks each-full grown. that's prolly the most you can get them for.
