Alien or Predator?

Question

Who do you think is cooler? Alien or Predator?
I would appreciate if you include the movies you saw, why you like them, how you think they will do in AVP2?
Personally I like Aliens, or Xenomorphs, but so many people like Predators I'm getting sick. Write well! Btw, I'll report if you break the rules.

Just because aliens dont have technology doesnt mean they arent Smart, they take memories and intelligences from whatever host they are born from, for example, Ripley's Clone Alien Queen learned how to read and understand language. The hive organization system is supposed to be one of the most advanced brain systems in the world.

Predators, I like that they take trophies, have advanced weapons, their sight, their honor, and their hunting skills, their courage, and their cloaking device.

Aliens- They are Fearless, they dont back down in an attack unless the odds are against them, also, they can see predators and humans no matter what, because they have sensory glands that detect pheromones amanating from living things.

i LOVE the aliens! i have seen all the alien movies and a few of the predator movies but the aliens r much more awesome! especially the queen. ALIENS RULE!!!!

As for Alien:
Since just about everyone has seen this film during the last twenty five years there is no need to go into any details about the plot. The original "Alien" represents the tail-end (har,har) of a time when dialogue and plot development still counted for something in the film industry. Contrary to some of the professional writers on this site,I do not believe that "Aliens(1986)" represented a real improvement ... although it wan't too bad at least compared to the brainless crap coming out in THIS century. The original's plot was almost believable. Machines rusted; flame throwers and other reasonable small arms suggested a period only slightly in advance of our own. There were, I'm happy to say, no implausible "phasers", supralightspeed engines or any other silly "Star Trek/Star Wars" stuff. The crew were placed in a position of constant peril (leading to death for everyone except Ripley and Jonsie) by a sleazy corporation out to make a buck out of this "molecular" acid super-weapon. The rules of physics are bent a little for the sake of a story (artificial gravity, huh?) but not any more then what was needed ... a nice change.








Predator is definitely one of the best alien thrillers ever made. It is one of my personal favorite movies. When I first saw just a brief part of Predator when I was about five, I was freaked out and scared to even watch the movie for many ages, but eventually, once getting older, came to like it. The Predator, played by Kevin Peter Hall, is a very realistic and believable creature for the 1980s, when this movie was created. I like how humanlike its form is, and how un-humanlike it is at the same time. The creature's four mandibles were a great idea for its distinct facial characteristics and the creature's roar is awesome, one of the best ever produced. This movie stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Carl Weathers, Bill Duke, Jesse Ventura, Richard Chaves, Elipidi Carillo, Shane Black, and Sonny Landham and they are all believable in their roles and even add to the humor that this movie has. This is obviously the best of the Predator movies and still one of the most highly liked thrillers today. And let's all show respect for Kevin Peter Hall, who died a year after he had made Predator 2.

properly, i could have pronounced Predator yet... in Alien vs Predator: Requiem (or in spite of it become referred to as), Predator sucked. they are meant to have those style of super kit at their disposal like infrared imaginative and prescient (or in spite of), yet how come Alien become in a position to sneak up on Predator so oftentimes?

Me like Alien.cuz it do not use any weapon 2 fight.Predators is cool but I think they will be in trouble when fighting without weapons.
