Can anyone please help me get into my 2001 Mercury Cougar, I locked my self out and cant get back in until someone brings me my spar....pls help

Always keep an extra in a magnitic holder somewhere under the car. Call a wrecker they can open doors and the law will sometimes as well.

Use your cell phone to have the person with your keyless entry pad to signal the door lock through the phone with the phone speaker on. Worked for me on my 05 mariner.

if you have a ford dealership nearby you can write down your car's serial number and they can cut you a key for about $6, don;t use a slim jim or coat hanger, it will damage the weatherstrip on the window.

Put a tamon in the gas tank, it'll unlock the car no time.

be careful if you use the slim jim, because if your car has side airbags the slim jim could make them explode and send the slim jim into your face, head, or neck and cause severe injury or worse.

take close hangers bend them and try 2 stick it through the window and grab your keys or unlock the door

i would just call AAA but one time before i had AAA i just said screw it and broke the dang window. got me in no problem.
