minimum 2 pieces of ID and original birth certificate. i believe the passports will not be needed until 2007.

i remember well going over well - just be careful you don't loose te birth certificates AND realize that with the stricter rules corssing the border after some "fun" will be a bit more challenging. you might want to think about an inexpensive hotel.

Sweet! That is what me and my friends are doing next month when I turn 19! (last one of the bunch to turn 19 and they all waited for me...how nice! lol) So yea what you need is your passport or birth certificate and some sort of picture I.D..drivers license or state issued I.D will do. (or if you use your passport you won't need the picture because it will already have one.) Hope you have a really, really fun time and don't get to wasted! I recommend getting a hotel there just in case. I plan on doing that. I don't live too far from the border but it's just to be safe.

Oh yea and as for coming back..they'll ask to see the same things. Just show them and they will also ask you if you purchased anything (that you are bringing back). They do this because if you buy a substantial amount they have you fill out these forms in which you can get money back but it's not even worth the trouble for most things. So either just say nothing or a few souvenirs.

For now, all you need is a driver's license and a birth certificate. Be prepared to show both. As for other tips... make sure there's a DESIGNATED DRIVER. The border patrol aren't state cops by any means, but they WILL NOT hesitate to detain you guys at the border if the driver is drunk (or even just has a couple... they don't care, they WILL pull you guys over for drunk driving if you don't have a DD). Another tip is make sure your car is clean, including the trunk, I don't mean no drugs, but the backseat and trunk area are either empty or clean... the border patrol gets suspicious when they see messy cars because it's easier to hide stuff in messes. But make sure there's no drugs anywhere.... and DO NOT bring or try to bring alcohol back into the U.S... you will get detained. Finally, if you do go to Windsor or wherever, stop by the casino and gamble a little... even if it's just slots or something... it's an entertaining way to maybe make some dough!

I used to live right by the bridge and my Grandma lives in Canada. My parents are divorced so my mom had a real copy and my dad had a copy ... it worked but you also need ID, i don't think they are asking for passports yet. but be care full , do not bring and liquor beer wine any type of tobacco products or guns / weapons cuz since you are only 19 they will probally cheak your car. same thing on the way back. and don't forget to keep you reciepts they may want to know what you brought! Hope that helped!

You can cross... there's a bridge and a tunnel. You probably need two pieces of ID, but watch out.. I've heard of 19 year olds getting stopped; so come up with a legit story for going before you leave.

Either a photo id (drivers license) or equivalent and birth certificate or a passport. And the birth certificate needs to be the original or a certified notarized copy

I have gone several times and I brought my birth certificate and driver's license but they have never asked for anything but a picture I.d. Good times. Get a purple haze at the Honest Lawyer's bar.

Yes - Birth Certificate and Driver's License or Passport

P.S. Don't drink and drive - designate a sober drive or you could end up in jail!

I am pretty sure that you will need a state issued picture ID, or Drivers License and a CERTIFIED copy of your birth certificate. It must be certified, not just a copy. Have fun!!!
