The Detroit Tigers.
Why?
They are playing with so much heart and soul.
They have a "fire" within them that cannot be put out.
the muts had better hope St Louis beats them in the NLCS.
Because The Tigers will put a whooping on dem der muts so bad thier grandkids will feel it!

Tigers, they've been so unstoppable most of the season, and in the playoffs they've been playing nothing but good and clean baseball. Very little errors. . . .I'm not even really a Detroit fan, per se, but they did some hurt to the Yankees, and as an outsider to all teams involved still, they are playing the best, that's for sure.

It's easy to see that the only team in the playoffs that looks like it's on a mission is the Tigers. They remind me a great deal of the 1996 Yankees. The big bad Braves were suppose to sweep them in 4 but you could see how focused they were. The Braves didn't stand a chance. I see that same look in the "Eye of the Tigers".

American league teams seem to be better but you cannot count the Cards out as Pulos.if hot , can win any series and I think the most important factor can go to the Cards and that is LUCK

this is easy...the mets...u want to know why????because they have one key players that the tigers fail to have...the energy that jose reyes gives to the team...and tiger fans do not say i-rod (steriod user) or anyone else...reyes is the person who makes things happen...if he gets one base...he is almost a run scored...plus the mets usually score first and the tiger players and fan will have the momentum out of them...and the mets are going to win because it is their year...when you say that your game 1 pitcher is john maine and pedro and el duque are out and you are still winning...you are the best team out their...plus the tigers didnt have a lot of injuries like the mets did and also if the tigers cant beat the kansas city royals...imagine the mets (the yanks dont have starting pitching so they have beat them and the okland a's dont have enough batting...but the mets have a good offence and an average pitching staff that gets out...plus their bullpen is one the best...we dont throw 103 but we get outs)

dominican luva... couldnt have said it better
to add to that, detroit is used to facing such precise pitching from the a's staff for 4 games (if they win today) and will not have a chance against the offspeed pitching of the mets. i cant believe people are picking the cardinals to win the nlcs, who on their team is a key player? pujols and maybe carpenter? the mets jumped on carpenter quickly last night and showed the baseball world that they can handle any kind of pitching. they have the electricity, power, and heart to win it all.
