Dude, Whoa... Slow down.
First of all your and guy and he's a guy if I caught that right. Trust me as somebody who got out of the navy 4 months ago and I was in for 6 years. You are not ready for the type of stress that will put on a relationship.
The navy has a high amount of homosexuality, However it is not public whatsoever. It has to be descrete, Meaning, You wont ever live with him if he lives on a base. He will probably be afforded an opportunity to live off of base, But that will not come for at least 2-3 years of time in the military. Until then you will be living seperately.
Also being a sailor, He is going to be gone! Yes he will have schooling for a short while after his bootcamp, But most likely he will go to a ship after that. And on this ship he will spend roughly 4-6 months out of the year, Living with other men, bouncing around from foreign port to port. If you think you will be comfortable with that, Go ahead. But as a divorced/ex-navy/married at 20 years old/friend of the homosexual community, I have to say bad idea.

If you two are genuinely in love and want to be together for the rest of your life, you aren't too young. But you have to put into the equation that sometimes love and lust are two very different things, and that this may not be it for you. Many marriages end in divorce, and you have to think about this before hand. Do you know everything there is to know about him? Are you financially stable to be married? How will this affect your careers, future plans, ect.? All these things should be thought out before you take the plunge. Marriage is a beautiful thing, but you have to think it over. If you two believe you can make this work, than more power to you! Love can be enough! Good luck and I hope you make the right choice!

Well it is something to think about at your age,but if you and him are in love I say go for it,if he makes a career in the navy it will help with the financial part and the medical ,because if you get married and have to struggle though the relationship of being married will not work out.

Yes, I think 18 is too young, besides you still have your WHOLE life to live. What if the love you have for him or vice versa runs out, then what? Divorce. Not the answer.
Live you life and don't get caught up in the moment.
Good luck!!

MILITARY WOULD NOT RECOGNIZE GAY MARRIAGE. MOST STATES DONT EITHER. YOU COULD JUST LIVE TOGETHER.BUT 18 IS STILL TOO YOUNG. GO TO COLLEGE.OR GET A GOOD JOB AND SAVE SOME GOOD MONEY. ENJOY LIFE WHILE YOU ARE YOUNG!!!

You are too young. Why don't you just live with him for awhile?
It is not like you are pregnant and religious, so you would have to get married.
