The TENSOR equation:

G = 8pi T
is the simplest form of Einstein's Equation

The stress-tensor T is the frame independent geometrical object that acts as the SOURCE of Gravity.

G is the Einstein Tensor and is the measure of the curvature of Space-Time.

Remember that Mass/Energy generates the space-time in which the energy/mass moves, and then the two evolve together.
There was no space-time at the beginning of the universe but it has expanded 'between' the mass/energy to be largely flat with dots of mass/energy curving it - sometimes very severely.
Also as a mass rotates it pulls the space-time around itself.

This makes solving most problems in General Relativity extremely difficult.

Mr. Einstein is in trouble!..It may have been his brilliant wife who did the work on the general and special theorys,and he took the credit!..

That would depend on what the heck a source system is.
