First you need to understand the difference between the term "wireless" as it pertains to a laptop and an input device. A wireless enabled laptop means that you don't need to buy secondary equipment to use wireless networking. A wireless input device means, although the keyboard and/or mouse is not attached by wires, that you still have a receiver unit attached to the PC.
Most wireless input devices will have a receiver that attaches to the PC via USB or PS2 (the round ports that are color coded purple/green for keyboard/mouse). Once the receiver is plugged in, and the device drivers are installed, then you should press the connect button first on the receiver then on the keyboard. The connect button communicates the signal range/wavelength to the receiver. Usually this button will be recessed on the devices so they can't be hit accidentally- you'll have to use a pen or paperclip to push them.
Hope this helps!

Greetings!

First did you load the installation disk first. If so reboot the computer. If it still does not see the keyboard go to start control panel add new hardware and follow the wizard.
If that does not work you did not install the driver which should have been on the installation disk. If that is the case go online and to the manufacturers site, look for help there and download the driver, reboot the computrer and you should be good to go

Good Luck

Normally these keyboards come with a disk that allows you to install the needed software to use the keyboard. You must install the software before you connect the keyboard.

The keyboard uses Bluetooth, so yourt laptop needs to have Bluetooth also. You might of gotten it mixed up with WiFi.
