hate is not a trait but instead it is learned. someone had to teach these people to hate and discriminate against people that are different. usually a person that hates gays hate others with differences as well. the problem with these people is that they have no mind of their own, their mind is so weak that they cannot think for theirselves and they need to rely on others opinions so they can say this is how they feel. they have no comprehension of opening their minds to new things or to things they don't understand so that they can learn and be more open. it is their loss by being this way because they might be missing out on a great friendship. there are other people in the world that do have a mind of their own and still discriminate but those are the hypocrits. they preach about what is morally right and wrong but what they don't talk about are the things they have done that could be construed as morally wrong. unfortunately there are alot of those in our govt such pres bush. some people are just ignorant.

For the same reason they bash vegetarians, it's because it isnt' the way they were raised, they are uneducated and fear change and different...we just need to keep moving forward as we have been. One day we will be equal to if not majority over heterosexual marriages. The kids of today are our future and are living with either two mommies or two daddies. They are open minded and it's them who will change the gay and lesbian world...be patient.

because, it's only about "bashing" someone. There's no goal to it, no nothing, just bashing. Hurting and hating.
But I think the gays should make the difference between a basher and people who want to talka bout it.

They bash the gays because they are ignorant children. They have not been taught the right things by their parents. You know, live and let to live, do unto others... all that great stuff. It's going to be quite funny when they all grow up and their children come to them and say that they are homosexual!

Because they're small minded, bigoted and fearful. I do agree that there is a difference between discussion and bashing. I'm always up for a good debate on the subject by those that can provoke thoughtful discussions.

"Bashing" has become another word for disagreeing with. Plenty of people disagree with sodomy and its practices. Few actually physically assault sodomites. Its just gays playing the victim card. looking for sympathy.

everybody needs someone to love. i happen to like gay people better then straight people, and would love a male gay friend.
people bash people because there are jealous because those people dont have what the other people have. or they are just old school, or dumb,

people attack anything that doesnt fit in to thier norm, its a pack instinct behaviour suited to animals, humans are suposed to be above that, but check out the inner cities on friday/saturday nights when pissed up men and women are loose!.
fights, fighting based on race,creed,gender,look etc
