This is a great list you have compiled but I can think of one more. Neil Bonnet at Daytona qualifying the #33 Chevy! It was a scary moment at the time until you saw him. Also, a scary crash would have been Steve Park in a Busch race. I believe it was at Rockingham. It put an end to an aspiring driver! Plus, to answer mikemusic, that driver that stood on the car was Jimmie Johnson. It looked like a very bad wreck and sure looked like it hurt! Oh, and hope about Ryan Newman,TWICE, at Daytona!!!

Don't forget to add when Richard Petty crashed at Daytona and all the times that Elliott Sadler has gone flying and tumbling at Talladega.

add elliot sadler at talladega, what was it, 20 something 360 degree rotations, counting all axis's, it was ugly looking
also, there was once a crash at watkins glen that looked bad, going into turn 1, someone lost brakes and steering and went head first into the wall at like 110 miles an hour, but it was all good, they were ok, got out and stood on teh car all excited like

pretty godd list there,but i would put rusty wallace 1993 daytona in the worst crashes list
i have elliot sadler 2003 talladega
and yes i agree on the #1 spot with geoff bodine at daytona
there are just so many spectaular crashes it is hard to put a # to them on a list,they are all bad

You forgot about Jimmy Horton at Talladega in a cup race in 93. The one where he went over the wall, and th eother guy that was in it was almost killed.
