Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. I will never trust a republican again. They will lie to get elected, and lie when they do not do what say they are going to do. They also have no will to stand up to the president when he negates the laws they pass.

In on word. Yes, they will trust the Republicans again. Neither Democrats nor the Republicans have a monoply on the truth. Or a third party will come around and whip everybody's ***. Which sounds pretty good ATM.
(And I don't believe the Bush administration lied about Iraq any more than France and Germany did prior to the Iraq war, although I doubt the Bush administration fully disclosed their intentions, either.)

The republicans didn't lie. They went to war to bring justice for the 3000 people that died in 9/11. Or did you forget about that. And the whole "why'd we go into Iraq then?" is ill-legitimate. If there isn't any better reason for us to go into Iraq it was to save the people that worried every night if they were ever going to live another day or if a death squad was going to come in and kill them because they don't have the luxury of being able to speak out against their own government. And to bring justice to the hundreds of thousands of innocent people that died because Hussein didn't like something about them. No one lied to you people at all. You're ignorant if you believe that. George Bush said he was going to defend this country and he meant it. And that is exactly why there hasn't been another attack since 9/11. If we cut and run then there will be an attack. We'll have open war in our country and then you can sit and wish that you'd have been able to support the war in iraq. in fact it's a war on terrorism and those of you that don't support out troops only support the terrorists and that's not just my opinion that's the way you make yourselves look. That's the way you democrats and liberals and bush bashers have done yourself.

All governments lie to their people at some point. I think there's a lot more to the story than we know.
We can acknowledge this and then work together to make a better future. It's ridiculous to shun the democrats just because he lied about having sex with the intern.

Repubs lead us into a war under false pretenses. They have created the biggest National deficit in US history. We have lost over 2,700 soldiers in Iraq while Iran and N. Korea continue to proliferate nuclear weapons. They have overlooked a child molester in their midst for the last 6 years in order to maintain their corrupted power. What amazes me is the fact that they lost my trust when GW stole the first election while it has taken 6 years for the rest of our country to wake up. If it walks, squawks and talks like a duck, it's probably a big quack. Anyone who really trusts the Republicans at this point needs a thorough mental health examination.

The Democrats are complicit in lying to us about Iraq. They've done nothing to dissuade the Republicans from stopping such an illegal, unconstitutional and immoral war. Every member of the Bush administration, and every member of the U.S. Congress, should be placed on trial in an international tribunal for crimes against humanity. Then they should all be tried in the U.S.A. for high treason against the U.S. Constitution. If convicted, they should ALL face a public firing squad. These people are the most evil, corrupt, incompetent, contemptible, arrogant, self-absorbed group of pedophiles, wife-beaters, homosexuals, alcoholics, cross dressers, drug abusers, liars, womanizers, shoplifters, rapists, and murderers ever to occupy the White House and the Capitol Building. They all deserve to die for their terrible mismanagement, evil misconduct, and reprehensible inhumanity. -RKO-

If republicans lied about Iraq than the democrats must be very gullible to buy into there lies. The democrats will surly buy into what France and Germany will tell them what to do

After the are pushed out of congress, I imagine a number of Democrats will be increasingly willing to work in a bi partisan fashion on any number of important issues...but the Bush administration will need to be deleted entirely first.

possibly some subjects - however the message Bush sent to the international with regards to our warfare on terror is crystal sparkling: in case you have a concept of flying airplanes into homes, extra useful you opt for France or Spain and stay the hell out of the USA!
