AMERICAN SAMOA suffered the heaviest losses ever recorded when AUSTRALIA beat them 31-0 in the 2002 FIFA World Cup qualifier Oceania 1st round Group 1. the match was played at Coffs Harbour in Australia on 11 April 2001 & it is also the world record for the biggest international match scoreline.

I remember a World Cup 2002 qualifying match that was much worse than that. I think it was Australia playing an island team (I don't remember the country name), but the score was 33-0, Australia. Pretty brutal. I'm sure there has been worse.
