Unspecific implies a failure to specify. If I say the information was unspecific, I mean it was lacking in details. Nonspecific means not pertaining to a specific subject or item. So if I say the information was nonspecific, I mean it was general information, as opposed to information about a particular item.

i believe the difference is that unspecific means thats whatever was being discussed wasn't clarified and nonspecific means that it doesn't matter .
