i have a wonderful black cotton dress button down long sleve dress top .

but the problem is i have these white cotton linty fibers on it>

how can i get it off???
this is stoping me from weraring my top.

Im thinking about washing it in the washing machine alone hoping the watter will remove the fibers.
and drying it inthe dryer so the lint will come off???

Clean the filter on your washing machine, and make sure you don't wash the shirt after you have washed towels or knits. Turn the shirt inside out and wash on cold with very mild detergent. Dry it by itself (again, not after towels) using a dryer sheet. Then use sticky tape to remove the lint. also might consider a good professional dry cleaner in the future.

Use a lint roller. Be careful what you wash the shirt with.. And, you can also buy a pill shaver. I think that's what they call them. It shaves off those yucky fuzzies (called pills) You can find them at a walmart. probably in the luandry area. With the baskets and such..

try using tape or one of those sticky lint brushes. It usually gets the loose stuff off.

if you havn't got a lint brush use a razor blade . it is really good. a shaver.

if none of the obove work try getting black clothing dye
