I can't find anything on the verizon site that even begins to answer this question (they aren't typically the most helpful).

Yes, you can. I send messages to friends in Japan all the time. But you have to be careful about costs ! And that will depend on what kind of service they have there.

It depends ont he service, but usually yes. When I am in France sometimes and I text someone in the US, it costs $.50. Crazy price...

yes i think you can. you just need their number. then punch it in and send them the message.
if not, call verizon and ask them because there might be a certain plan for that.

Yes, you can...Well at least I can. If I'm in Florida, and I can text my cousin in Guatemala, then I'm pretty sure you can text to someone in the UK.
