I would say c.
It is shallow and rude. It shows that he doesn't respect you enough to tell something that's bugging him to your face. Instead he hides behind a piece of plastic, so you can only hear the words being said.
It's even more low if he does it on speaker phone.

They are all bad but i think the worst would be out of the blue when your having fun somewhere, you think its okay, and then it goes.
