I used to play runescape, but it is a virus for my computer pretty much. My account was shadow9822, and I still have 364k i think. I was a member for a long time and i would cut yew trees then sell them for a lot of money.

To clarify what others have said; There are no cheats for runescape. To correct what some have said; There is *no* way to hack into the Jagex systems, servers or otherwise. There is no fine for doing this, as it simply isn't possibly - why would they fine you "up to $500" when they could kick you from the game? ban all of your IPs and credit card numbers ? Put simply, no-one has ever "hacked" Jagex to increase the stats of their account.
Millie1762, i suggest, in the future, you do not break one of the main rules of runescape on such a massive forum like Yahoo.
I'll remind you of rule 9: Encouraging Rule Breaking. Don't do it, you may find yourself worse off than you expected.
On to the question: There are many ways to make money. Choose the one you find the most enjoyable! If you don't enjoy it, you're not going to do it very well, or for very long. Try theiving or maybe woodcutting. Remember, if you want to make money, don't sell to a store - use trade! :-)

OK, first of all, let's go over the basics. THERE ARE NO RUNESCAPE CHEATS!! despite the popular opinion, they actually don't exist. Now, there are some hackers that can actually hack into the Runescape program, and get themselves unlimited money and items. THIS IS ILLEAGAL. YOU CAN GET FINED UP TO $500 FOR DOING THIS! wc yews or mage logs work but u need a high lvl of wc for that i play runescape some now i use to play a lot i stopped about 2 months ago but im starting to play again, also if ur high level and a member killing dragons like blues works too i think, i know bout member stuff from my cousin ive never been a member
