I'm the type of person that will pick apart something until there's nothing left. (As I'm sure you can tell, I am a very stressful person! lol) But I also talk to my boyfriend about it, and get other people's input. And sometimes when I make major decisions, I'm not 100% sure it's the right one to make; but sometimes it takes a wrong decision to come to the right one. That's the point of learning from your mistakes! Nobody is perfect and nobody can make the right decision all the time! â¥

How major are we talking? Marriage? Pregnancy? Telling your boss off? Murder?
Assuming what it is you're thinking about doing is legal, make a list of pros and cons. Once you've made your decision based on that, you will always have your list to look back on even if things don't work out. In other words, you can look back at the list and see again that it was the best choice to make at the time, and the choice you made was better than the potential outcome of the alternative(s).

Weigh the pros and cons and make sure you've thought it through but at the end of the day you follow your heart, instinct, faith, or whatever it may be.
once you've made and acted on the decision you can't worry about whether it was right or wrong. you have to live with it and move on to the next big decision.

Only time will tell. Some decisions take a lifetime to figure out if it was right. Others you know right away.

I carefully sort out the plausible options, weigh them for merit, assign them mathematical values, put them through statistical analysis, and initiate the more favorable course of action. Then I cross my fingers and pray that the outcome isn't a complete disaster.
