From what I understand his contract at DEI is over at the end of the 2007 season or at the end of the 2008 season. They have been going over new contracts for Jr at DEI.

A lot of people have said that he should leave DEI if he wants to win a championship but Dale Jr has said that he will not leave DEI until he wins a championship. Jr has also said that he will be at DEI for the rest of his life as he is that loyal to his fathers company.

There has been talk of him racing for RCR for a while now but that is just a rumor. IMO, if Jr leaves DEI then DEI would crumble. Jr is the main reason why DEI is still around!!

And Jr will not gain control of DEI until Theresa passes away. The way it's set up, when Theresa passes away, Dale Jr gets full control of DEI.

its possible! but, Jr. has says that he is not ready to go there yet. rcr owns the # 3. PERIOD! JUNIOR wants to earn that right to race his dads #. rcr is holding that # in hopes that Jr. will get there. I hope that day will come, but, now is not the time. he has to earn the right to drive w/ #3 on his car. senior drove for rcr for many years, and respects senior.. he offered, but Jr. knows, he isn't there yet. when the time is right, Jr. will proudly drive that #.for those that don't understand, the #3 # itself is owned by rcr. Jr. owns part of dei, and never has to worry about driving for them. he would only drive for rcr, to drive the #3 #, if that were the only way. they could retire that # or sell it. rcr is holding that # for when Jr. is ready.

this same rumor was out at the start of teh season. jr wants to run in the rcr 3 GM goodwrench car at the end of his career, but only AFTER he has won a cup championship for dei, which is what his ultimate goal is. jr is going to stay at dei until then, nothing sooner, he has said as much himself

AS OF RIGHT NOW, YES IT IS A RUMOR. BUT, RCR HAS WANTED JR. TO DRIVE THE BLACK #3 SINCE DALE SR. DIED. JR SAID WHEN HE COMPLETES EVERYTHING HE WANTS TO WITH DEI THEN HE WILL DRIVE FOR RCR. I DON'T BELEIVE IT IS IN HE NEAR FUTURE THOUGH. YES JR. WILL..SOMEDAY DRIVE THE BLACK #3 FOR RCR.

I remember hearing somewhere that before he retires(which should be awhile) he's going to race with rcr, but that will probably be long down the road.....unless things have changed.

The thing you need to remember about Jr is that he will never be a great driver. No matter how much the media and his fans want him to be a legend he just plain is not that great. He is an average driver in a top car and he still sucks. He would suck in the 3 just as bad as he sucks in the 8.

In nascar i've got have been given self theory alot indoors the numbers interest and if the previous february 15's have been won via skill of a earnhardt than he will win. i think of of he will win via making use of his 3 time cup champ teammate. i think of of the win will come from the hendrick solid in spite of the undeniable fact that. Who is acquainted with in accordance to danger mark martin could win the 5 hundred!! pass Jimmie Johnson and the completed lowe's forty 8 group

Stranger things have happened.
But it may be just a rumor, I mean why would junior drive for RCR when he is a co owner of DEI.

He is no better then any other driver.

Maybe RCR could straighten him up better then DEI. I do not think He will ever leave voluntarily though.. he has it too good where he is.

This has been circulating for the last 2 years. But with the new contracts most are 3 or more year contracts , but these can be brought out.
