i have to be able to get the supplies at the local supply store and it has to be cheap and i have to be able to make it within a few hours or a day. any ideas? suggestions?

The scariest thing I ever ran into was a scarecrow on a porch, sitting on a rocking chair that you would have to walk by to get to the door, thinking it wasn't real. Then it would reach out for you and say something because it was a REAL person sitting perfectly still until you were right by it!

When I was a kid, I used to live in San Francisco (live outside of it now). There always was this one house I was terrified to go to, but everyone else did.
There were people in the bushes that would just pop up and just scare the kids, and it was always the most popular house in the area. Then, if you made it to the end, you got some candy. Its cheap to make, just buy a few scary thing, and get a few of your friends to scare the kids. Always was a blast!
But you gotta make it worth to get it to the end. Thats where it could get a bit expensive. Get GOOD candy... Something that kids REALLY like.

Why buy anything. All you have to do is have all the lights out on this day. If you a screen door have your door open with the screen locked. When the trick or treaters come to the house. Jump out screeming or with a chain saw running.

Well,first of all I strongly recommend someone thats lying on a table strapped down with silver duct tape and pour spaghetti sauce all over the body (make some deep wounds :) and if you do have a chainsaw PRETEND your cutting up the person,BUT DONT KILL THE PERSON)and use your hand to scoop up the spaghetti sauce and eat it.
