i ran a 9 minute and 52 second mile is this good?or what is a good time to run the mile by the way this is my best time running the mile usually i get 10 ~11 minutes (i put this under health and basket ball cause im going out for the basketball team so i have to run the mile twice a week)

Yeah that's pretty good because I'm in 8th grade and am 12 and can run i think the same speed and I am the fastest

Well, 9 mins isn't bad for a mile for a 13 yo, but it isn't good. When I was in 7th, there was a girl on my track team that ran it in 6 min. 48 sec. That was the best score my school had had in 10 years. Really anything less that 7 minutes about for your age is good. The closer you can get to 6 minutes, the better.

wow i guess every school is different, but yeah by my schools standards 9 minutes for a girl is pretty good. the fastest girls in my school get around 7 and under. but one of my friends who is a guy has a 5:30 mile.

its not bad but it aint great i ran a mile in about 6 1/2 to 7 minutes when i was in jr high. but if u keep runnin it u will get faster!

man my third grader can run faster than you. he runs a mile in 6-7 minutes.

It all depends on age, but most girls run slower than that so thats good
