Asian women w/ black men or white men w/ black women or Asian men w/ white or black men, etc.
Are they trying to promote this to keep their stations from being burned?

Are white people the only ones not allowed to be prejudiced ? Asians, Hispanics, or East Indians are not apologetic for their prejudices.

Actually there was a sit-coms in the 70's named the Jeffersons. Their neighbors were a bi-racial couple where the woman was black & the man was white.
I think it's becoming common to see couples of many different races these days on tv & everywhere else too. Not sure where you live, maybe it's more common in larger cities. I don't think burning down stations is really a factor there.

GREAT QUESTION. There's definitely what seems "bias" on TV. I recently answered a question (family & relationships) from an Asian fellow. I'd been BLATANTLY aware that many TV ads showed ONLY Caucasian men with Asian women, (never the opposite!) & I wondered if there was some kind of "trend" in the media, & why. I'd like to "ferret" out these ads & see if I could get a credible answer as to why they do this. Intuition tells me they'd never tell me the truth. Ads are also "planned" for specific shows, regions, etc., & what is thought to be most appealing to "those" people. (HA) I'm going to see if the question I asked was ever resolved. It annoys me--this "focus"--& I truly hope you get some informative answers! I'll keep you on my "Watch List"..& I hope someone can come up with the answer.

Because black men w/ white women is what happens often in the real world. White guys don't go w/ (or like) black women and Asian women.

No, no... in the past, movies, then television noticed that people liked what was called a 'Black and White Minstrel Show'. Since this is not politically correct these days, 'they' have to be subtle and use 'real' blacks and 'real' whites. BTW, this is not a 'real' question... is it?
