He should because he will be hurting so bad that he will wish he was dead. He was really hurting after the first game. More than likely the backup will be in by then because he will know his time is done.

If you recall, Brett Favre already stated that this is his last season before retirement. Whether or not the Bears win or lose, Favre will not be back next year as the Packers quarterback. It will be a sad day in the NFL but it is inevitable, all good things come to an end.

Why would Farve get the beating of his life on 12/31? The Bears will be resting all their starters with home field advantage clinched through the playoffs. Perhaps you might want to rephrase your question?

Hard to say.
Personally I would like to see him go to another team to play his last years. There's many teams that could use a QB and I think he still has some gas left in the tank. He's on a team that has no other assets, Walker's gone, Ahman is injured too often and the O line is not giving him the protection he needs, his scrambling abilities are not what they used to be.
I would like to see him end his career on a high note, not clinging to a sinking ship.

I think this will be Favre's last year. It will be sad though when he retires. Not only is he a legendary QB but hes such a class act.

He will, but it won't have anything to do with the "beating". It would take a hell of a lot more than a decent bears defense to take him out. The guy's a warrior plain and simple, he will retire because it's his time.

I doubt it, I think he will be traded to a team who needs a mentor for a young quarterback if he doesn't retire and will probably do real good if he has an offensive line in front of him.
