My friend just recently left her husband and is asking me for advice as I recently divorced. She is Chinese and I am not sure how they view divorce and adultery or if it is even any different. Are there differences in the way they view these things? Are there things I should not say?

Your friend asked for your advice. She needs someone to talk to while going through a divorce. Don't say anything negative about her ex (just in case they get back together). Just help her through her crisis with practical ideas of how she can manage.

I am sure there are some differences however a broken heart in any culture remains the same....just be there for your friend.

If she asked you for advice then it doesn't matter.
