I'm a 6'2" 20 year old guy who has always been taller than everyone in my area, especially the females. My friends sister is 13 and already 6'0" tall. She is always wearing high heels when i am around. She has one pair of shoes that make her so tall that when I stand next to her I am barely taller than her shoulder(and i have to stretch to do that), she cant walk in those shoes very well but she tries. She is going to be taller than me without shoes soon enough, i have accepted that, but she seems to really enjoy making me feel uncomfortable. She has also told me that she wants to be at least 6'6" barefoot. I have watched her grow up as her brother and I have been friends since we started school. i never noticed her height untill one day i was helping thier mom move furniture, and we found an old height chart. My friends sister was 5'8" at 10 years old. Her brother was only 5'0" at 11. I was only 5'4" at 11. does anyone else have or has had a similar problem?

I'm not sure what the problem is. You're a tall guy...congrats. Let her be proud of her height and stand tall. Sounds like she's comfortable in her skin. You should learn to be, too.

I'm 5'4" at 22 years old and I call my high heels my self-esteem shoes because they make me feel better. I suspect that this girl feels much better about herself when she gets all this attention about her height. Let her have her moment - she's only 13. And really, 6'2" for a guy is pretty tall - I'm sure you shine too!

I don't have a similar problem. What does height have to do with anything anyway? Stop letting her make you feel that way! I had a beautiful friend who is 6'1". She said that she always had a very hard time getting dates bec. she was always taller than most guys...Anyway tell her to sit her *** down! (with respect) lol

Just us short people here,so i have never experienced this, However, you need to remember that we are all different somehow. One day she will grow up(emotionally) and realize her height doesn't really make her special,it's what's on the inside that makes the woman. Don't be so insecure, there's room in the world for us all.
