- Great selection of games. Mario 64 DS is a must own title.
- The touch screen adds a new element to games, and just having two screens is pretty cool.
- Awesome battery life, and the rechargable battery is included with the system.
- Can connect to your wireless router at home and play games over the internet, depending on the game.

Dislikes:
- Hard to meet new people to play with only using the DS. You almost have to know them from somewhere else (in person or from a message board or something) and get their Friend Code first to play with them.
- The Friend Codes are different for every game, so if you play with a buddy in Animal Crossing using one code, you'll have to also get their Mario Kart code to play them in that.
- The styluses (spelling?) are easy to lose.
- Not a very wide range on the wifi antenna, so you'll have to be in a good hotspot or within close proximity to your router.
- Feels a bit "kiddy" at times. A lot of the games are geared towards younger gamers. Not a whole lot there for us more "mature" players.

All in all, it's a great handheld, and I'd have to recommend it. I've been intending to sell mine since I bought a 360 in order to get some more games for that (or maybe even make a car payment...), but I just can't bring myself to get rid of it. It's a great companion when travelling, or *ahem* when you have some... alone time in the restroom...

First, make sure you buy a DS Lite, and not the older style DS. The DS Lite is smaller, and (duh) lighter, but also has a longer thicker stylus, brighter screens, and a power switch that you won't turn off on accident.

There are lots of great games for the DS. My personal fav is Trauma Center:Under the Knife, where you conduct surgery via touch screen. New Super Mario Bros. is excellent, and I'm looking forward to the new Zelda DS game in the works.

Sorry I can't help you with dislikes...I <3 Nintendo!

I love mine. I don't really have any dislikes. It's nice to just pick up and play when you have a few minutes yet the games I've played have been quite deep. It is a little kiddy but that's not a bad thing. I'll always have a soft spot for my Mario games.
