..an obsession of the thrill of points for a pointless point or,
if Asker agrees with my view point, is that an indication of all the yes men and wanabe despots out there ?
or some sort of social compunction to feel needed or some inner conscience?

..lol..going silly tonight..doesn't thought and feelings go hand in hand and how would you relate to philosophical understanding of why Answers and Askers community would continue to thrive 3 years later ?

Ok, I pinched this term "fuzzies" off the yahoo!answers site at the bottom left hand corner, sorry for the confusion! It definitely ain't no sauce.

Not sure I get the question or point here.
Sometimes I get fuzzies when I feel I've really nailed it. Just the pleasure in having made a good point and said it well.
When it's an advice-type thing, I get fuzzies from the feeling I may have actually helped someone (and sometimes the asker says I helped -- Big Fuzzy).
I don't do it for the points; what's the point. Nor do I see how this makes one a yes-person. (Wannabe despots, I guess, I can't deny.)
It makes me use my mind, which is fun.

Yes when I get a best answer my ego soars to think I was better than all the other answerers, but then when I check the question I come down to earth with a bump when I realise I was one of the few to give a proper answer rather than a one or two word reply.

well only if i really help them with a personal problem!!!!!! or make they're day!!!!!!! any one can get 10 points for knowing things and information but helping someone is so much nicer!!!!
