Ok not to be mean but this should be in the Yahoo! Answers category!
POINTS:
You earn One point every time you get on Yahoo! Answers.
You earn Two points every time you answer a question.
You earn Three points every time you pick a best answer. (To your own question by hitting select best answer Not by voting)
I think you earn some points when you vote?
You earn TEN points by getting chosen as best answer!
POINTS
You lose five points every time you ask a question.
I think that's it BUT you can always click on My Q&A in the top right hand corner then go to the right hand side and it should have a list of all the points you've earned or lost.
Oh and the higher points you have the higher the level you are on.

The factors help you see how properly you're doing as you flow up the stages, yet there is no longer something you would possibly want to do with them. each and every time you ask a question you'll loose 5 factors. once you %. the perfect answer you obtain 3 factors decrease back. That way it in difficulty-free words expenditures you 2 factors to ask a question. in case you enable it bypass voting you received't get the three factors.

answering questions is worth 2 points and answering a question that gets chosen as best answer is 10 points. asking a question is minus 10 points. once u get a certain amount of points u move on to level 2, 3 and so on.

click on your avatar on yahoo answers it should bring you to a page called 'my q &a'. on this page it has your points and your questions and answers. if you look by the word 'points' in the first box there should be a little question mark, you just click it. the page you should be in will explain how to get points and what they mean and etc.

basically, it doesnt matter cuz most ur questions will get deleted and eventually ull get suspended and have to open a new account. and watch out for the edna! gl!
