If you believe in the ouija board, tell my why. And if you don't believe, tell me why. I need scientific reasoning.

NOPE..it is fake as crap. Law of gravity on a little plastic eye glass that whoever is in charge of the game moves it themselves.

This goes outside the scientific realm because science can not affirm the existence of God but i do say this the Ouija board is not to be played with for the devil plays for keeps and that's a fact!
As for the Ouija board i believe in the Word of God .

The Ouija board is a strange thing. In college, we all went through the obligatory New Age phase and started contacting the dead.

I am not sure if I believe in the validity of it. I will say that even with groups of people, the planchette moves wildly, almost as if it could scoot on its own. It can be rather disconcerting.

Scientifically, it is believed that the power of suggestion is what makes this occur. Studies of blindfolded Ouija users showed they produced gibberish.

Let's put it this way: If we could all talk with the dead using a Ouija board, why wouldn't we all be doing it?

I know in my brain is it all BS, but having done it a lot, I wonder if there is something to it.

So I am going to straddle the fence on this one.

Mary says " it incredibly is not any longer the gadget that opens the door, it incredibly is the centred reason of the concepts. And it incredibly is not any longer precisely smart to open doors which you are going to no longer be able to close, nor administration what might come through " then why even use a board in case you have the flair to try this ? the only element that comes through with a ouija board is subconscious stuff yet which would be damn frightening at circumstances nonetheless the board is barely a board .. a interest ... ineffective

I believe in the Ouija Board. I've actually seen it, so I know it exists. That specifically answers your question.

Now, as to whether the Ouija board is predictive...not at all. It's a waste of time. Any Scientist - present company included - will tell you it is bogus.

If you need scientific reasoning, do science.

No, I don't believe it it's power. I have played with a Ouija board on more then one occasion and did not feel like anything supernatural took place. The pointer only moved because my friends were making it move. I think the extent of the Ouija board's effect on a person depends on the level of which the person believes in the supernatural. People who are easily lead to believe in it's power will feel like they are experiencing more.

Any method or device that can tap into the sub-conscious or what Carl Jung called "the collective unconscious" can have some very profound results. Whether this is actual contact with an other world or dimension or just contact with our own mental processes which run all the time in the background, the results can be insightful if not taken too seriously. We hid many layers of perception from ourselves, and it can be interesting to flush out these feelings and thoughts.

Funnily enough I was talking about this with my Grandmother yesterday, and she told me that the Ouija board definitely works and has special powers. But it's probably not a good idea to place too much trust in what she says. She's been a bit odd since she died in 1947.

lt is a powerful medium to be connected with the departed. lt is not recommended to the thrill-seekers as it is very risky. lt poses more danger than good. There have been many cases where the spirit would not leave the inhabited body. l've never tried it and never will. The many horror stories surrounding it is enough warning to avoid it.

The fact that it says "Parker Brothers Corp." on the side of the box gives me reason to think that it might just be a game!
