such as.. if i tell someone my phone number.. they can look it up in reverse online.. and see what address goes to it.. but can they also do this with a cell number ????

I believe Cell Phone numbers are protected Under the Data Protection Act.
Therefore any Inquiry as to the owner or owner Information can only be disclosed after Lodging a Complaint with the police (Normally Nuisance calls Classed as A Complaint)

I always listed home address, cell phone number, and email address. You don't have to identify that it's your cell, just put it down as your phone number. Leave off your land line.

Well, they could track you down from the cell phone company and get that information better off dont tell a stranger your number just tell friends and family.

Unless the information comes from the operator,then its not possible since mobile phone numbers are not located according to regions or towns like fixed telephones
