NO!
The Anti-Campaign.
This is a new concept that can easily be managed given the current state of communications technology. It is my opinion that the powers that be in the political illusion of choice, the illicit “two party system” as it is referred to throughout the media, with it’s corporate lobbyists, fragmented understanding of reality, twisted morals and constant manipulation of the public through “spin” techniques, has gone ahead and passed through the legislation that will make it possible for the citizens of the United States of America to have a say in things.
Simply, what I propose is that we write amendments to the US Constitution as necessary and get them ratified through petition.
Typically, when you think of a petition, you may think of those folks hanging out around asking for signatures in the weather, with a clipboard and a cause. That concept has gotten many causes their due deserts. With the laws set up by corporate lobbyists for business we can take signatures for a petition in several additional ways.
●Written. This is the traditional method.
●Mail.
●Over the internet. Signature Authentication has made it legal for a person to enter into a contract over the internet. Therefore, a petition is a legal contract, so signatures can be gathered with Signature Authentication.
●Telephone. The technology that has come once again from corporate lobbyists special interests has made it legal to use a “gene” system, which issues a contract number associated with a digital recording of authorization, basically a voice signature. With authorization and notification of recording, this is a legally binding contract. Therefore, if a legally binding signature can be voice recorded, so could signatures for a petition.
●TV. Advertise the petition with local cable, which is relatively cheap. Directing humans to a website or phone number.
●Radio. Directing humans to a website or phone number.
Now, using these technologies will make the process of signature gathering will increase efficiency exponentially. What used to take years could be done in days.
Most everyone has a TV, Radio, and a phone.
70% of Americans have access to the internet. 186,900,000 people.
The corporate interests and the self serving decision makers are represented by this simple and verifiable statistic. Before stating this, my own opinion is that I do not judge others, this is simply a scientific observation. So please don’t take any offense if you fall into the upper category, I mean no disrespect.
2% (5,340,000) of the humans have 89% of the money. There is a total of roughly 535,000,000,000 dollars available. This is the number reported to be all the available currency. Using that number means that 5,340,000 humans have access to $476,150,000,000, roughly $89,167 a human in the upper 2%.
On the flipside of that, dare I say, let’s spin it to use the term. 98% of the humans (261,660,000) access to the remaining $58,850,000,000. That is a whopping $225 per person.
Does that sound funny to you? My math is right, plus or minus a few here and there, so how is it possible that we get by?
There is an astounding 1.5 trillion ($1,500,000,000,000) in US consumer debt. That is interest charges. Now, I don’t know how this debt is distributed, but just dividing the debt out among the humans, (267,000,000) each of us is responsible for $5,618 in debt.
Now, adding the $5,618 in debt to the $225 is $5,843 a year, times 4 for the typical household, and you get $23,372 a year. Which comes pretty close to the US Census Bureau data gathered in the last census. That is an odd mathematical proof.
Could it be that our economy survives on the debt of the masses? The debt continues to grow, while the currency available remains roughly the same. Of course we can’t just start printing money and handing it out, but with a little tweak here and there, we could relieve a lot of consumer debt and decrease spending in the home on unnecessary obligations.

I think it starts with politicians showing some respect for themselves by showing respect for each other. I am personally sick and tired of all the attack ads out there. Why don't you prove to me what you've done positive and admit where you have weaknesses or made mistakes and how you plan to improve that, what your plan is. That's when I'll have respect for our political leaders. They are all acting like school children anymore.

MORE? "Some" would be better stated. I don't say that you have to respect a decision or an action that you may disagree with - BUT I do think that you can disagree, respectfully. Our political system looks like a bunch of bratty children run it, not a group of mature, educated diplomats. Where's the Principal!!?
American citizens too. What's up with that. Show some respect for our country and act like civilized individuals with very diverse thoughts. It can be done.

Respect must be earned. It is not something that someone can demand, buy, or expect. Once those so-called "honorable" men and women EARN our respect, they'll have it. But that's not going to happen until all the pedophiles, wife beaters, alcoholics, liars, thieves, homosexuals, shoplifters, womanizers, drug abusers, cheaters, gambling addicts, cross dressers, thugs, rapists, - and ,maybe even a murderer or two - are thrown out of Congress and the Oval Office. -RKO-

The main problem with America today is that we respect nothing and no one except the almighty dollar. We should all show more respect to our country, its leaders, our elders, each other, and most of all, ourselves, for without self respect there is nothing.
We should show more respect for our laws, Constitution, and to those who are risking their lives to protect us from worldwide terrorism.
We should not respece terrorists, those who give them arms, food, and safety, or try to subvert the Geneva Convention to protect these wanton killers of innocent people. Rather, it is they who should face the wrath of God, and perish in hell.

We should show respect as we would another person on the street.
We may disagree with their competency but it does not mean we may perform any better in their shoes.
But if they are dishonest and hypocritical, they certainly do not deserve respect.

You want to show more respect to a group of people that constantly try to pull the wool over eyes, treat u like your stupid, ignore your opinion and who want to lessen your civil rights? That is why it feels like things r getting more and more out of control. The answer to your question is NO!

Only if they derseve it. With so much corruption in government, it's hard to respect them. I know...not ALL political leaders are bad.
