i dunno, depends on the state of the country
if iraq and afghanistan gets better, the economy slowly comes back up, gas stays low, and if there are no more attacks on the nation, and illegal immigration is somewhat stemmed: then a republican
if the wars become a quagmire like nam, the economy goes into a recession, and gas and immigration get worse, then a democrat, because people may want a new leader

I think that its going to be a democrat in 2008. Our current trends show that the general public is getting sick of the same old story every election year (Terrorism). People are also fed up with Iraq, and they will be angered when we invade Iran and maybe Syria.
The biggest factor however will be the actual candidates, so it really can go either way. Things just tend to lean democratic at this point in time.

Democrat, probably Evan Bayh, running against Republican John McCain. It is possible for Hillary Clinton to become nominated but she could not win the general election.

It's going to be a Democrat because the Republicans have shown through the current Fool on the Hill, Bush, that they don't have the slightest idea how to govern this country and move it forward. People have had enough of the Clown Crusade that's in charge now and will vote for a change starting next month, and that momentum will continue through the 2008 elections.

I think it will largely depend on what happens next month. If the republicans keep their majority or if one or both go to the democrats, how they perform over the next two years will influence the presidential election.

I don't care if he's a Democrat or a Republican as long as he has our country first and formost on his mind. I think you should vote for the best person not the party.

It will depends on who will be on the race. The worst thing that Democrat would do is to choose Hillary Clinton .She will lose.

Unless you want higher taxes, Terrorists killing us in Our Own Country, and Illegals taking over several of our States, then we had better hope to have a Republican President!
