If people form Nigeria are Nigerians, what do you call people from Niger?

The citizens of Niger use the adjective "nigerien" News anchors and such will use "Niger's capitol, Niger's people," etc.

Inasmuch as the Niger River runs past Nigeria, there is no distinction: all the residents are called Nigerians.

I always call people from Niger by their given name.

I suppose it's Nigerien/Nigerienne - but since the G is pronounced differently than Nigeria it isn't hard to distinguish when spoken.
