Only Johnny Depp in pirates of the Carribbean looks good in eyeliner. Not normal guys walking down the street.

It depends on the guy and the makeup job.
added note: I don't think gay at all. How many gay men do you know that actually wear makeup? I think that's stereotyping. I think gothic. I am not sure if that's stereotyping or not, but goth clubs tend to have a lot of guys in dark eyeliner. Gay clubs are more likely to have buff guys in tight T's, but no makeup.

Its depends on the guy. Some guys look good and other guys just don't. I figure eyeliner on guys is all a matter of being able to pull it off and still look good without looking gay(unless they are gay in which case they still might not look good in it) and most guys can't do it, but for the ones who can...more power to em'.

It sickens me a bit. Chris Daughtry on American Idol did it a couple of times. I can tolerate it if there is something else they're doing, too. But no SUBTLE eye enhancements for guys!!! Its got to be intentional fringe type of adornment, then for some reason I can stomach it better. But basically, it's gonna be a "no" for me.

Lack of personality. They imitate others to look "cool" or "like rockers", when in fact many of them are nothing more than empty people just following a trend.
Most of them are not original and just try to look cool imitating others, instead of finding their own personality. Shallow and sheep-like.

my son wears it, I may be old fashioned but it seems a bit different to me, but I let him do what he feels comfortable in doing besides he would just do it anyway , but his friends seem to like it on him, and he has alot of friends, he has always liked to be different than everyone else so guess this helps him in that way and alot of people in our small hick town in his school can apperciate that
