The person above me had it wrong. Voting is a responsibility of a citizen; something we don't have to do, but we should do.
The official duties are:
1. To obey all laws
2. To appear in court if called upon
3. To serve in armed forces if called upon
4. To pay taxes
5. To attend school
The official responsibilities are:
1. To vote
2. To be informed
3. To take part in government
4. To help your community
5. To respect and protect other's rights
Duties are what all citizen's must do; if they don't do these things, they could be arrested or get fined.
Hope this helps!

Pay taxes
Obey the law.
Voting is not a duty, it is a right, and the ONLY one a citizen has.
Use it wisely!

One thing that we don't see a lot of is carefully thinking through issues to arrive at thoughtful conclusions on where each of us stands on the issues and making our choices in the voting booth accordingly.
There are very tough choices to be make and some issues have no easy solutions. I think maturity comes in handy when voting.
Voting out of knee jerk reflex puts people like Ned Lamont in office.
We need real leaders who will make the tough calls whether its popular or not.

there are several duties
1. Respect the law and dont break it
2. Dont commit treason
Every other rule can be summed down to these. However its a pity not everyone respects these
