for the sl. the last generation lasted around 10 years. so the next one should come out around 2013. the price of the New SL will be expensive of course. im guessing a price range between $125000-$145000 for the regular models, and $165000-$225000 for the AMGs. The CLS will also not be coming out with a new models in a long time due to the new releases. I am guessing the next CLS will appear same time around 2013. The price of that car will also be more expensive.

honestly, they're both beautiful machines, but b/w 55-75K for the cls and 85-120some for the sl?? yikes!
not to mention, their website is for crap and the MB roadside assistance program is a complete joke. for that kind of cash, they should have a rep that lives in your trunk!
