Just the 4 strings are needed, g d a e only, no bowing action or frets (?) for plucking only. I know it wont sound perfect but its just for her to learn the basics...only her 2nd lesson

A A E E F F E
D D C C B B A
E E D D C C B
E E D D C C B
A A E E F F E
D D C C B B A

A is the third-highest open string, B is with on finger down on the A string, C with two (touching!) fingers down, D with a third (not touching the C) finger, E is the highest open string, and F with one finger on the highest string.

If she is useing Suzuki method, then the first not is;
Line one:
open A, A, then open E,E, then 1st finger f#, f#, then open E, Then
3rd finger on A string( high D, D,), then 2nd finger in A string(C#,C#). Then 1st finger on A string which is B,B then open A.
Line 2:
then open E,E next 3rd finger on A-Str which is D,D. Then 2nd finger on A-string which isC#,C#, then 1st finger on A-string
repeat this for 2nd half of line 2.
Line 3:
same as line 1
Looks like this
Line 1- A A E E F# F# E---D D C# C# B B A----
LIne 2- E E D D C# C# B----E E D D C# C# B----
Line 3 A A E E F# F# E---D D C# C# B B A----

Sorry, folks. This is "Twinkle, twinkle" in
a minor key! Move everything down 1 note and
you'll have the usual tune! In other words,
start with 3d instead of 0a.

This will probably help.

Twinkle Theme:

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star (0a 0a 0e 0e 1e 1e 0e-)
How I wonder what you are (*3a 3a 2a 2a 1a 1a 0a-)
Up above the world so high (Oe Oe *3a 3a 2a 2a 1a-)
Like a diamond in the sky (Oe Oe *3a 3a 2a 2a 1a-)
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star (0a 0a 0e 0e 1e 1e 0e-)
How I wonder what you are (*3a 3a 2a 2a 1a 1a 0a-)

The Numbers are what fingers go down....the letters are the strings.
