It could be a few different things. Radio interference from a local ham or cb operator if you have a wireless mouse, If you are on a local network or have had someone set up remote assistance on your PC, someone may have installed VNC software (remote computer control) and is playin tricks on you. If this is happening on a PC at work, you probably have VNC software installed. If it is, whoever installed it can not only move your mouse but watch your desktop and every move you make and can even control everything on your PC!

Mine does that too, I have a microsoft wireless keyboard. It has somethign to do with the surface that the wireless mouse is on. TRUST ME ON THIS ONE, I've had this happening since day one LOL... it's not anyone hacking into your computer. The mouse pointer will only move slightly for a bit and sometimes stop. But you still have complete control, so that definetely isnt something to worry about. Microsoft products arent the best, go for logitech lol. If your keyboard is a logitech, weird! lol add a mousepad underneath the computer's mouse (if it is a wireless laser or optical mouse)

With the mouse USB hooked up do a restart. Might work. You would be surprised at what a restart will fix. Hope this helps. Good Luck.
