Western Europe, the United States, United Arab Emirates and New Zealand are among the major consumers.
Southeast Asia is thought to be the hotbed of child prostitution. According to UNICEF, more than one million children in Asia including Thailand, Philippines, and India, have been sold to brothels or street pimps for sexual exploitation.

lured by employment in the cities, but lacking education & skills, girls become easy prey for predators in the sex trade. they risk prostitution, exposure to HIV/ AIDS & physical abuse.

resolve poverty, gender equalities, proper education, strict government laws, unscrupulous businessmen, patrons & parents should be put behind bars, etc

I've seen so many Television programs about "child prostitution". Dateline and some other shows etc. They even did a raid with the Thai government. I guess they can only be in so many places at one time. But I do know that corruptions is everywhere. The United States is trying to crack down on people that go there. And including prosecuting Americans that partake in the goodies that they call "Yum, Yum"

it is a very tuff task. u can strengthen the hands of the police, or create a moral police. but child prostitution will stay as long as a market for it stays. till humans think it is ok to buy another human, prostitution will stay. till then perverts who want them young, will have a field day too.
