I have flushed before, but you're supposed to take it to a pet shop (Pets at home etc..) to be disposed of properly. I just put it in a food bag and take it along. They are always helpful.

Yes of course it is, just like in the movies. I gotta warn you though, if its about 7" or over you should toss it in the garden (good for the plants) or put it in a plastic groery bag outside and wait for the garbage guy.
Sorry for your loss.

Yes, its fine.
I wouldnt reccomend you try this method of pet disposal if the dog dies, It usually takes more than one flush to get rid of an Alsation

I keep loads of tropical fish and whenever they decide to go to the great aquarium in the sky i always send them by the express sewer route - never had any complaints either so they must make it ok!!

yes, unless its too big. I had one for about 7 years that got to be about 6 inches long, it was a little to big to flush! I had to bury it.

sure, unless it is/was huge.
I had a large cichlid which is a type of freshwater fish in my tank that died.
I tried to flush him down the toilet, but he got stuck.
It was gross, but luckily he came back out.

I've done that before and neva had any problems, they will be filtered out at the water treatment plant and then decompose.
