Once upon a time TGI Fridays did great buffalo wings with a great hot sauce but these days they are not so good. Does anyone know the original recipe and method of cooking and what the hot sauce was? (it tasted something like lime and chilli but I don't know.) The best I tasted was TGI Friday in Cardiff Wales!

I asked Jeeves and I found this as one answer...

"I used to work at TGI Friday's. They make their wings with butter, and cayenne
pepper sauce. They use frozen chickenm wings, and they bake them instead of
frying the, then the wings are tossed in the butter and hot sauce mixture and
served with celery and blue cheese. hope this helps"

yeh they were great. went there last week for the first time since i was a kid, had the rack of ribs again...love the jack daniels sauce, but in answer to your question, no, it changed hands a while ago so the recipe is probably lost forever.

I don't know it, but you may be able to find it on this website:

copykat.com

You can find a ton of recipes from almost any restaurant.

I tried the recipes for Outback's walk-about soup and Olive garden's salad dressing and they were outstanding. Exactly like the restaurant.
